We had a great relaxing weekend at the Creek! Our friend Chuck Depner came down from Dallas, and Mark Benett met us there as well. Chef Mark had us eating well all weekend. THat boy may have missed his calling. The girls had a great time on the water. Abbie got up at 5:00 a.m. to fish with the guys Saturday morning -- and landed the biggest fish they caught. We took some time to kneeboard in the afternoon. And Abbie almost got up on skis. I'm betting she'll be an accomplished skier by the end of next summer!! Here are a couple of knee-boarding pix!

School started yesterday. Thank goodness! Kait is going to 5-day pre-K and Abs is in first grade. Abbie rode the bus in the morning, and then Kait and I went to pick her up in the afternoon.
I went to the doctor yesterday -- finally!!! It seems I have plantar fasciitis after all -- I just didn't realize it could be in my heel. And when he started talking about it, it seems it's been a problem since the spring. (I'm a slow learner.) I just didn't realize that was what was going on. So I've got exercises to do. Apparently the mongo-high arch on my foot makes it worse.

We're headed back to Fluvanna this weekend for Opening Day. It'll be good to get up there. M'Lys and A'Lise will both be in and we have quite a bit of work to do. It'll be good to see both of them. M'Lys started at her new school yesterday. I think she's going to like it.
Gotta run -- I've got to get some cleaning done before we walk over to get Abbie!
