I don't know if you've all heard or not, but God's hand of protection was definitely on Milton and many of our friends this weekend. Several fires were raging in Scurry County. One burned much of our Park Pasture -- we lost our fence along 84 and on up the caliche road towards dad's place. But Milton, the house and the cows are okay. A separate fire burned around the Riggan's house, much of the golf course at the college, and very near Monte & Linda West's. That same fire burned around Elois Pruitt's house. Again, everyone is okay and none of them lost their homes.
