This morning I got up before 6:00 (yes, me!) and met Marie and Lisa downtown for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. It was great to see them. We did about 5 miles total, between the 5K and the walk to and from the Race from Lisa's house. So.... 10 miles tonight will make it 15. Twelve miles tomorrow and I'm officially back on track.
Here are a few pictures from the last week or so. Kait and Abbie are still loving soccer! Mom is loving the fact that we've gone from four practices a week to three!
Biggs, Abbie & Kait have started running sprints on the hill behind our house -- at least once a week -- sometimes more. It's really started to show with Abbie on the soccer field. She's got a lot more stamina. And her calves are starting to look pretty muscular. She scored two goals last week and one today!
Thursday was Dictionary Day at school. Each student was encouraged to illustrate a word from the dictionary. Abbie dressed up as a marsupial -- complete with my fanny pack and a kangaroo peaking out.
The girls' friend Erin is spending the night tonight. Should be fun!
Ya'll have a great week!
