See You at the Pole

Yesterday was "See You at the Pole" -- a nation-wide event where students gather at their school's flagpole to pray for their school. Our event wasn't very well attended -- I'm guessing with the hurricane everyone forgot. But we were there!

Kait was a bit grinchy -- She's having a hard time with the whole back-to-school thing.

I'm so thankful that we live in a place where an event of praise like this is well-attended by teachers from our girls' school. Even with the lack of publicity, several of the teachers made their way outside to join us. I think it's good that our kids can see that their teachers love Jesus!!
