What a difference 12 hours makes! Now Ike making a run for the Rio Grande. For us, the absolute best scenario -- no one has to make a run to Sargent to get the boat, Kait's birthday can go as planned, Biggs can get a lot done this weekend.
But for the people who live in South Texas -- who live in all the colonias down there -- this is not good news. The best landfall? The King Ranch -- not much other than cows.
As for us, we're still prepared! We've got groceries for this week and next -- and Biggs has enough Chunky soup to last a lifetime!
